I have a great passion for dance, but an even greater passion to teach.

I have been dancing salsa since I was 10. I've choreographed salsa performances for Latin festivities and I'm currently a member of the Que Rico Salsa Family at UNC.

The first style of dance I took interest in at a young age was hip-hop! It's so hard hitting and raw that I had to learn it. During my junior year I was a member of the Kamikazi Hip Hop team, which was an incredible experience. I had the opportunity to learn innovative moves and create my own choreographic piece! I was also a children's hip hop instructor for 2 years!

ZUMBA!!! So much fun, high energy and great music! I love teaching Zumba and working with many different people who love to have a good time. I was fortunate enough to receive training from Loretta Bates, who I highly recommend as a a Zumba trainer! I have taught a few pieces at the YMCA and at three other dance studios in the past!
